The incarnate beauty of the place of Spain puts frame to the beginning of our tour for Seville. The "Magna Hispalensis", the cathedral of Seville, is the second biggest church in the world after the San Pedro of Rome. This impressive example of the Gothic Spanish style contains in its interior a great number of works of art in its chapels and among others Christopher Colón's great mausoleum. The area of Santa Cruz was the old Sevillian Jewry, a tangle of white alleys that are unfolded in innumerable courts. It forms the most picturesque area of the city, where Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, the famous Sevillian painter, lived in the 18th century.
