The ecological disaster of Aznalcóllar's mining raft, in 1998, has served for the recovery of a green corridor that passes close to the river Guadiamar, between Aznalcóllar and Aznalcázar. It presumes to be the first Andalusia's territory that enjoys the qualification of "Protected Landscape ", and proposed as a paradigm of recovery of a zone removed after an environmental catastrophe. We will begin with a guided visit to the Visitors' Centre of the Guadiamar, opened close to the Aznalcázar's Roman's Bridge. The audio-visual of approximately ten minutes explains the environmental actions undertaken in the region of the Aljarafe after the break of the raft; a revision is also done about the monumental heritage of the villages of the fertile land of the Guadiamar. Later a route will be realized by horse up to the mill where you will be able to enjoy an appetizer. *Minimal demanded quota: 30 people |
