This land of contrasts that is Doñana presents a mosaic of different landscapes where a wide variety of species of plants and animals coexist. Its extension and strategic situation turn this natural space in an important place of wintertime for the migratory birds. Doñana stands out as one of the most important humid zones of Europe. At the beginning of autumn and during the winter it is possible to enjoy the presence of thousands of aquatic birds such as geese and waterfowl proceeding from the north of Europe. In them they feed and raise innumerable birds. The visitor can delight observing the horizontality that offers this landscape, the avifauna that lives in it and the spectacular flight of the Flemings.
