Scientific Committee presents the conclusions of the Congress during the closing

The Provincial Delegate for Environment (Andalusian Regional Government), Francisco Javier Fernandez, Professor of the University of Mexico, Simon Gonzalez, and the manager of the Foundation CENTA, Inmaculada Cuenca, staged the Smallwat closing ceremony. Professor Gonzalez read the main scientific conclusions of the congress.

The manager of CENTA thanked interest to all conference attendees in addition to a very positive assessment of it, both for participation and the quality of the papers presented. For his part, Professor Simon Gonzalez, as a representative of the Scientific Committee, was asked to present the main lessons learned during the three-day conference.

In general terms, Professor Gonzalez said there is need for a paradigm shift in the integrated management of water resources, which incorporate new approaches, providing for the future and make more sustainable sanitation made ??by its management. Also showed that, despite the efforts and progress made,still exists many differences between developed and developing countries. Another conclusion drawn refers to the need to adapt technologies to the economic, social and environmental as well as standardize the naming technology.
